Overview
Audia is a newly established, Milan-based manufacturer of consumer audio products. They combine cutting-edge technology with striking aesthetics to deliver products that look as good as they sound. As a fresh voice in a market dominated by long-established competitors, Audia seeks to distinguish itself through innovation, attitude, and uncompromising quality.

Objective
To design a distinctive and memorable logo for Audia that captures the brand’s identity as a contemporary, forward-looking, and aspirational audio company. The identity needed to communicate vibrancy, innovation, and dynamism, appealing to discerning customers who value both  technical quality and thoughtful design.
Initial logo concepts stemmed from experimenting with a repeating ellipse to create letterforms. This led me to explore the idea of sound waves interacting within a confined form.
Once I had established the outer bounds of the logo, I began to play with the interior shapes to see how they could convey movement of waveforms. The logo needed to be dynamic while still feeling cohesive and visually harmonious to reflect Audia's commitment to innovation and quality.
Refining the logo further, I layered a variety of waveform shapes within the same container. The opacity of each layer ranges from 40% to 100% which provides a sense of depth and movement.
Final logo set with colour and typeface pairings. The secondary logo has been simplified for smaller applications.
A collection of branded stationary items. The logo is paired with magnified crops of individual layers to highlight its construction and create visual continuity across the set.
