Quiet Creatures is a new club night that brings together four visionary artists who, despite their seemingly low-key presence, continue to shape the sound of the contemporary UK Bass and Grime underground. The brief was to design a poster promoting the event that reflects the mutated, alien-like sounds of one of the most exciting scenes in UK electronic music.
Pictured are some of the many physical proofs produced before the poster was finalised. These explored different paper weights and finishes, as well as colour and layout revisions that proved necessary during the transition from screen to print. The finished poster was printed at 420 × 594 mm on Hahnemühle Photo Glossy 260 gsm using the giclée printing process. This ensured accurate reproduction of the vivid colours that are central to the poster's impact.
