Overview
Light Sleeper is an independent record label founded in 2025 by Manchester-based duo Ben Wilson and Sam O'Connor. After producing their own club-focused records for the past 5 years, the pair were eager to branch out and highlight artists whose music straddles the line between functional and abstract.
Objective
With the evocative name Light Sleeper inspired by music that accompanies the early hours; from half-heard pirate radio mixes in the back of a 4AM cab, to songs you reach for when insomnia sets in, Ben and Sam sought brand visuals to match. Deliverables included a pair of posters promoting the label's launch party, along with album artwork and related promotional materials for one of their first releases, Agor by Koreless.
